For foreign nationals starting or operating a business in Hakuba and Nagano.
Minimum ¥5 million in capital. As of the R7 (2025) revision, the standard capital requirement is ¥30 million for new applicants — please contact us for current requirements applicable to your situation. A dedicated business office separate from your residence is required.
A fixed business office in Japan is required. The office must be exclusively for business use and cannot double as a residence.
You must be actively managing the business. The immigration bureau examines whether the business is genuine and viable, not merely set up for visa purposes.
We review your business plan, capital situation, and visa history to assess the realistic path to approval.
We support the incorporation of a 合同会社 (LLC) or 株式会社 (KK), including registered address arrangements where needed.
For accommodation businesses, we handle the ryokan licence application in parallel. See the Ryokan License page for details.
Once the company is established and the office is in place, we prepare and file the full visa application.
Holders of a Business Manager Visa must renew periodically. Renewals require demonstrating that the business remains active and financially sustainable. We assist with both initial applications and subsequent renewals, as well as changes in business structure.
We offer a free initial consultation. Please get in touch.
